Apostle Dr. David E. Alston, DD
By His grace, The Honorable Bishop David E. Alston is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a direct descendant of the late Harriet Tubman.
In 1987, the awesome voice of God called Bishop Alston into the preaching phase of ministry. In
1991, Bishop Alston relocated to North Carolina where he
was ordained to the office of Elder. In 1996 he was appointed as Bishop-Elect and consecrated to the office of Bishop with
full apostolic succession in 2004under the apostolic hand of Apostle J.L. Spence. Bishop Alston is the Founder of Progressive
Harvest Fellowship Church in Henderson, North Carolina,
which began as Love, Faith and Deliverance Ministries in June 1998. In May of 2007 Bishop Alston received the vision from
God and founded Strengthening The Body Fellowship of Churches. This fellowship has been a mighty blessing to many across the
nation.
An educator by trade, Bishop Alston is a behavior specialist serving children with disabilities
for 12 years. As a motivational speaker, Bishop Alston travels the state of North
Carolina speaking to thousands of educators as he motivates them to survive the obstacles that arises
in live.
Bishop Alston received his Doctorate of Divinity
from The National School of Theology. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Educational Studies at Grand
Canyon University in Phoenix,
AZ. By the grace of God, and with an eye single to His Glory, Bishop Alston has
been blessed to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ across this great country. Bishop Alston is the host of Strengthening The
Body TV, a Christian talk show on Time Warner cable. Bishop Alston has spent time as a bible school professor and currently
Bishop Alston is the President of Kingdom Builders National School of Theology in Henderson,
NC
Above all of his accomplishments, his chief joys are his lovely wife Pastor Monique Alston, his
three daughters, KaDesia, Jykal, Jecona.
Bishop Alston is the author of: “The Son of Another Mother, The struggle of Adoption”,
“Blood, Sweat and Cheers”, and “The Ten Commandments for Surviving Children with Behavior Problems"
Bishop Alston is an educator, author, a motivational speaker and a Kingdom vessel.
